Our first day started at Lizard Point, the Southern most point of mainland UK.
Along the way, we found a chocolate factory ...
We didn't quite make it to St Michael's Mount ... mainly because the tide was in.
And at last we arrived at Land's End ...
only to turn around and head off again straight away on the first leg of our wee ride to Dunnet Head.

We rode an extra 20 miles from Land's End to make a dent into what is widely known to be the most difficult day on LEJoG. Land's End to Okehampton would otherwise be 112 miles with 7,889 ft of elevation (180 km with 2,4 km elevation).
